Venture builder · Innovation strategist · Investor relations advisor

Building a future grounded in human flourishing.

I bring innovation, capital, and human development into alignment to help ambitious ideas become enduring ventures grounded in human flourishing.

Chicago

Point of view

The future will be shaped by the depth of humanity in the people building it.

AI is compressing build cycles and commoditizing technical execution. The differentiator moves upstream—to judgment, relational intelligence, trust, and the interior orientation of the founder.

I believe the strongest companies will make financial performance and human flourishing mutually reinforcing. Value creation is not a constraint on growth. It is the source of enduring advantage.

Practice

Three connected modes of work.

Build

Venture creation

I turn consequential ideas into companies—from first-principles insight and customer discovery through business model, product, team, and launch.

Hybrid venture studio · AI-enabled prototyping · Founder formation

Scale

GTM and investor relations

I work inside early-stage, high-growth companies to sharpen the story, build enterprise pathways, prepare for capital, and translate momentum into trust.

Go-to-market · Capital strategy · Strategic partnerships

Transform

Enterprise innovation

I help established organizations navigate moments when the old playbook no longer works—aligning people, technology, culture, and strategy around what comes next.

Adaptive strategy · Leadership systems · Responsible innovation

The value creation edge

What a market will pay for is only half the question.

Does this produce real, reciprocal, viable, and sustainable benefit?

Signals unit economics that hold and relationships that renew.

Good

Does success strengthen collective well-being, dignity, justice, and community?

Builds legitimacy, lowers execution risk, and earns institutional trust.

About Jason

I have always worked between worlds.

Technology and humanity, capital and community, the discipline to build what works and the courage to ask what it is for.

Raised in Chicago by a Black American mother and a Tanzanian-born Indian father of Goan heritage, I learned early that perspective changes depending on where you stand—and that lasting progress depends on our ability to build across difference.

Over more than 15 years, I have helped launch university-licensed and federally funded technologies, supported early-stage ventures and small-business ecosystems, advised established institutions, and developed leaders around the world. Rebel Ventures is the operating platform that now brings those threads together.

My doctoral work at DePaul University explores Value-Creating Education for Global Citizenship, human-centered innovation, and the formation of the entrepreneur. My scholarship and lifelong Buddhist practice keep me close to the question beneath all my work:

Who must we become to build a future worth scaling?

What are you trying to make possible?
